During the first term, we wanted to improve the Natural Biodiversity around the university and Halls. Biodiversity is an umbrella term for all living beings from fleas to humans and everything in between.
We have been keeping everyone busy with making Bug and Bee houses in the SU foyer, using all recyclable materials. We had 10 students each day making the houses and learning all about helping biodiversity in their everyday lives.
Just to encourage the message even more we have also made wildflower bombs we had 15 students getting their hands dirty, these will be placed by the minibus parking to promote more growth within the university.
To start the biodiversity campaign off we put out a survey to students asking their opinion on biodiversity.
