The Venue is the heart of social life on our High Wycombe Campus and fully supports students throughout their time at university. Playing host to some incredible student performances and a fully packed calendar of events, all week long. The best bit? Entry to all of our events is totally free for our members thanks to The Big Deal.
The Venue also compromises of The Lounge, a rustic intimate bar with a pub style menu, featuring HD TV screens and free access to Wi-Fi. The Lounge bar is open weekdays from 9:30am and is the perfect place to grab your daily Starbucks. We also have all day breakfasts all within a student friendly budget. As well as being a great space to study, chill out, and meet friends during the day, it's also home to our fantastic night time events.
Based at the Students' Union, you can expect regular classics such as our famous Frat House every Wednesday, games nights, student takeovers, live music, our beloved Sunday quiz nights, and so much more… there really is something for everyone!
Every year in May we have our end of year celebration, Festiball. This event is unlike any other end of year ball around. The Venue is completely transformed, including the famous headphone Silent Disco, photobooths, cocktail bars, and food stalls. We bring you some of the hottest acts, with guest appearances and performances across two stages, over three nights - bringing the ultimate festival atmosphere to Bucks!
At The Venue, we offer the best events in High Wycombe, where our friendly staff and security are always on hand to help you with any queries or concerns which you may have. We aim to provide a safe and inclusive space for you to fully experience what student life at Bucks has to offer. What’s more? Bucks Students can enter all our events for free thanks to the Big Deal, all you need is a valid Student ID card.
