Our mission is to make life better for students at Bucks and campaigning for change is a big part of that. We campaign on a range of issues that affect students both on campus and in the wider community.
It’s not all posters and placards, and we aim to make sure that as many students as possible can get involved in campaigns. It's a lot easier to get going in campaigning than you might think - and we have a range of officers and staff who are here to support you in making a positive change for students. If you'd like to run a campaign, complete the form at the bottom of the page. Need some help on what to include? Use our example campaign form to give you some ideas.
Whether it's representing students within the University or campaigning at a local, national or International level on big issues, campaigning is a big part of what we do. But it's not just us who can run campaigns, our members (that's you) can take lead and run your very own campaigns on issues and topics that you're passionate about.
After the team have confirmed you've submitted all the relevant details, it will then be taken to the Students’ Union's Strategy and Planning committee to discuss the next best steps for the campaign and appoint someone to support you through your campaign. From the first draft ideas right through to the final event, poster, or video script - you'll always have someone on hand.
