At Uxbridge, your Students’ Union office is based on the first floor of the building, just around the corner from Pulse café. We are open from Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm and 9am-4.30pm on Fridays.
We run recreational trips, additional skills sessions, recreational sport, volunteering opportunities and support Bucks Nursing Society - Uxbridge’s own health and social society. We also help to facilitate any students interested in engaging in our extra-curricular programme at our campus in High Wycombe and with a free shuttle bus service operating between the two campuses. If you are commuting from a TfL zone, we can also help you with student Oyster cards.
Alongside this, we have an independent and confidential Advice Centre on campus with two specially trained advisors and more available in High Wycombe. They offer essential support and guidance on a wide range of issues and if they can’t help, they’ll always direct you to the right place. Booking an appointment is simple and we offer a number of different ways for you to complete your appointment – face to face, via phone, via Teams or via email. Just head to the Advice Centre section of the website or email suadvice@bnu.ac.uk for more information.
Finally, we also run the Student Rep scheme, enabling you to make a positive change in and around your course and get rewarded for the work that you do. It couldn’t be simpler to get involved. You name it, we do it. For more information, or to see what you can get involved with, pop into the office or head to our What's On page.
For more information about student representation at the Uxbridge Campus or to find out who your student rep is, please email surepresentation@bnu.ac.uk.

We run a free, door-to-door bus service for students and staff between the High Wycombe and Uxbridge Campuses (with a valid Buckinghamshire New University ID card) and you can view the current timetable on our website.
Whilst endeavouring to offer the highest standard of service to students and staff, please note that this service is limited by vehicle capacity. If you organise an event involving large numbers (ten people or more) of students or staff travelling between campuses, on a specific date and time, please inform the Students' Union by calling 01494 601 600 or emailing union@bnu.ac.uk.
