Who we are
We are the Advice Centre, here to listen to, advise and support students by providing a professional, independent and confidential service, which is accessible and welcoming. We will use our experience and knowledge on student issues to influence University thinking to make life better for students at Bucks.

What we do
We give you confidential information, advice, and guidance and help to solve whatever problem you may have.
We hold the Advice Quality Standard for our advice on social welfare problems. We are members of Advice UK, the largest network of free and independent advice centres in the UK.
How to get in touch
Email us at suadvice@bnu.ac.uk if you have a problem or question. For more simple enquiries, we will respond straight away, and for more complex problems we will arrange an appointment for you to speak to an advisor as soon as possible to suit you.
We can make appointments for you which may be by telephone, online through Teams, or face to face. Appointments will usually be available within 24 to 48 hours of a request during the normal working week from 10am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and to 3pm on Friday.
Appointments outside these times are possible but may take longer to arrange.
All Advice Centre staff operate within a confidentiality policy contained within our operating statements.
