I have had the absolute pleasure of serving as both Vice-President Education and Welfare and President of Bucks Students’ Union. These roles have given me invaluable knowledge of the higher education sector and countless experiences that I will always cherish and carry forward into my current and future endeavours.

At the heart of being an elected officer is the privilege of representing the BNU student body—not only at a local level but also on the national stage. It is an incredible opportunity for anyone passionate about making their voice, and the voices of others, heard.

Being an elected officer requires you to be inspiring, tenacious, and dynamic, qualities which also define the Students’ Union itself. These characteristics have shaped who I am today, thanks to the Union, its members, and the incredible staff I had the privilege to work alongside.
