Badminton went away this week to play East London’s 1st team, unfortunately they came back with a 8-0 loss. It must be said however, that Badminton have done incredibly well this year, played more matches than last year and are having a really great turn out to every session.
Men’s Football had a tough week as their 1st team took to the pitch to play in the semi-final against Surrey 1st team, who are in a league higher, so we knew it was going to be a tough match heading in to it. Our boys unfortunately lost but their efforts have not gone unnoticed. Their professionalism on and off the pitch has been incredible and we're excited to watch them as their focus shifts to winning the league and beating University of Roehampton at Varsity.
Netball 1st team have continued their winning streak, going UNBEATEN, they are now through to the final of the cup. They face Portsmouth 4th team on Wednesday 8 March and the location is yet to be decided, but keep an eye on the what’s on page to find out how you can spectate.
Rugby played against Surrey in a home game on Wednesday and to everyone’s surprise they won. After struggling to find a team for this week’s fixture they smashed Surrey out the park with a 43-0 win! An absolute huge success for our rugby boys and we'd just like to say a huge congratulations to the team.
Women’s volleyball took an unfortunate 2-3 loss at their away fixture this week, however this season has been one of their strongest seasons to date, so huge congratulations.
