After a successful General Meeting where the majority of members in attendance voted yes in support of a fourth Sabbatical Officer, we held our Vice President Education and Welfare (Uxbridge) Sabbatical Officer election.
Voting closed on Friday 17 June and with a total of 64 votes cast by our members, 5 of whom abstained from voting, we can now reveal the results.
With two candidates standing in this election, we can now reveal the results as follows:
Emily Crawshaw: 57
RON: 2
And so, Emily Crawshaw has been elected as Vice President Education & Welfare (Uxbridge) for 2022-23.
We would like to extend our thanks to all our members for the near unanimous support for a fourth Sabbatical Officer in our referendum and General Meeting, allowing us to increase representation for students at BNU across all our campuses. We would also like to thank and congratulate our candidates in this election and welcome Emily, our first ever Vice President Education and Welfare (Uxbridge), to the Sabbatical Officer team. We look forward to seeing what our new Sabbatical Officers will achieve next academic year.
