This year the annual national Student Volunteering Week starts on Monday 10 February and will take us through to Sunday 16 February. Universities and students' unions all over the country will be taking part in Student Volunteering Week to encourage volunteering, highlight the benefits and introduce different opportunities for students to develop their skills and positively contribute to the local community.
This year we have decided that Student Volunteering Week and Give it a Go 2.0 will fall on the same week to encourage more students to get involved with trying new things and to provide you with plenty of options!
There are many different opportunities to look out for during Student Volunteering Week which are all short-term or micro volunteering opportunities which fit in perfectly around your busy University schedules and social lives.
