Main support: Saturday 6 May
This Reading-based quartet have absolutely exploded in the last year, and since their humble beginnings in 2014, their mix of sing-a-long lyricism and unforgettable punch-in-the-gut rock riffs, has seen them become a staple addition to festival line ups, big and small, across the UK and in Europe.
Matt, Chris, Elliot, and Joe, formed the band in 2014, and since then have released a string of singles, teasing at something much bigger to come, that have had them rise through the BBC Introducing ranks, with their latest singles ‘In My Mind’, ‘Little Something’, and ‘Black Magic’, earning them a strong slot on this year’s BBC Future Festival.
Putting together a string of good support slots, just coming off the back of a European tour with You Me At Six, smashing the UK with a tour of their own supporting their new album. Oh and if you didn’t get tickets for that yet, you won’t. Yep, the 20-date UK tour completely sold out! So if you want to catch these again before they inevitably go astronomical, you’ll want to get to the barrier at FestiBall!
The Amazon’s self-titled debut album is set for release shortly after their FestiBall support slot, on Saturday 6 May, so expect a pumped up, energetic set that will leave you wanting more from one of Britain’s fastest rising stars on the rock and indie scene.
