Headliner: Saturday 5 May 2017
In just five short years, our FestiBall Saturday headliners have gone from the bottom to the top, and are now renowned for their energetic, impassioned and thought provoking repertoire; and with only one full length album in the bank, audiences and peers have lapped up everything they have delivered and are itching for more.
Hailing from Southend, Essex, these young faced likely lads were born to entertain; and they have to be, now they’re touring, pretty much non-stop, around the world. It took them just two short years to be picked up by RCA Records (home to everyone from Foo Fighters and Kings Of Leon, to Britney and Miley), who saw something in their mix of toe-tapping, pop-hook-filled bangers, and their softer side, which explores themes closer to the heart than to the feet.
But it was 2015 single ‘Wake Up Call’ that really threw NBT into the limelight, gaining them huge sets at Reading and Leeds festivals, as well as a support tour with Muse, followed by a sold out headline tour of their own, later that year. Their self-titled debut album reached a respectable number 7 in the Official Charts, and follow up singles ‘Ban All The Music’ and ‘Trip Switch’ haven’t been off Radio 1.
This will truly be one not to be missed, and we can’t wait to have such a world-wide touring act grace our venue for one night only!
