Every year our members (that's you) vote for who they want to see chosen as our Raise and give charity of the year. Raise and Give (RAG) is the fundraising part of the Students' Union where we raise funds for charitable causes that mean a lot to our members, and host specific RAG events for the charity you voted for.

This year your elected charity is Wycombe Mind and we would like to raise as much as we can and support the services Wycombe Mind provide.

Wycombe Mind believe that no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We work hard to support anyone that needs our help and assistance in the Wycombe district; including High Wycombe, Marlow, and Princes Risborough. We offer peer support groups throughout the week as well as a number of activities from our centre and local venues. We are also involved directly with the community in the various outreach projects we run.

We've set a target of £5,000 and know that with the hard work, and fantastic fundraising efforts of our members, we'll get there. To help get things started, your RAG Ambassadors will be hosting our first RAG Week of the year starting on Monday 28 October and it will be full of fundraising events, including the fan-favourite, Netball4RAG.

Whether you have played netball or not, come along to the Events Hall and take part in an evening of fancy dress and netball fun, all in the name of a good cause. It is a £1 per person to enter with all proceeds going to our RAG charity. Entries closing at noon on Wednesday 30 October with the event taking place from 6pm on Thursday 31 October. So, grab your mates, society members, teammates, house mates or your course together for a great evening out.

Throughout the week we will be playing games for you to get involved with.

Human Fruit machine will a big hit with Prizes galore.

The lucky dip box is always a bit of fun and of course no RAG week would be complete without Doughnut Day!
