This past year has been a difficult one for many and it has also shone a light on behaviours that are completely unnacceptable. We want our community to know that we will always believe them and are here to listen and support you. What you might not know is that April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and we’d like to let our students, staff and local community know that we will not tolerate any form of gender-based violence or harassment.
On Monday 26 April from 11:30am to 4:00pm and on Wednesday 28 April from noon to 5:00pm, we will be creating a #BucksStandsTogether Mural near the Students’ Union. We’re inviting you to join us and make a pledge to stand together as a community against all forms of gender-based violence and harassment.
The event will be led by our Bucks President, Tamsin Grainger, along with a handful of student volunteers to help operate the one-way system and clean up. If you enter the East Wing near the spiral staircase, a volunteer will point you in the right direction.
