In need of some more items whilst at University? Bucks New Usage has your back!
Bucks New Usage is a service that provides Buckinghamshire New University students with free, second hand goods based in West Wing of the High Wycombe Campus. They've got everything from pots and pans to cutlery, mugs, and bedding. Even if you were after a toaster or kettle you might be able to find them along with any similar items that you may need during your time at University.
They way the Bucks New Usage initiative work is that students who are leaving University or Halls can donate their perfectly good but no longer needed items and then new students can pick up something they might need, totally free. It's a fantastic scheme which is especially useful for students who need to travel internationally with limited luggage allowance or Freshers who may have forgotten that all important bottle opener. Even if you're not a Fresher, you're more than welcome to pop in a replace your chipped mug.
If you'd like to pick something up from Bucks New Usage, you'll need to make an appointment at our Multifaith Chaplaincy. To do this, you can either visit the Students’ Union office for assistance, or email Jenny.Ellis@bucks.ac.uk.
Please make an appointment to find out what goods are currently available for you!
