We’re all ready to take that next step in making better choices for our career, our love life, and today, the planet.
We’re only being slightly dramatic. As part of our specials menu in The Lounge, we’re introducing a new burger that’s been ethically sourced under the Red Tractor standards. Rather creatively, we’ve called it The Red Tractor Burger. Being a Red Tractor burger means that the food has been responsibly sourced, safely produced, and comes from crops and animals that have been well cared for – so it’s better for you, the farmers, and the planet.
“What if I don’t eat meat?” we hear you ask. Fear not! We have a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan burgers, including our brand new plant-based Mighty and Meatless burger. So, whether you’re doing a meat free Monday or looking to feel good about your plate, order a better burger next time you’re in The Lounge.
We’re not just trying to sell you stuff, we’ve done our research. The standards for a Red Tractor beef mean that not only must animals receive a full, healthy diet and be in sufficiently sized housing with access to shelter and a dry lying area but every certified farm must have a farm biosecurity policy to help prevent the spread of disease and protect animal health. Pretty great right?
If you’re taking it a step further and thinking of going meat free for your lunch, then you’d be saving enough energy to power an iPhone for 6 months.
Currently, you guys are ordering about 13 better meals a week, but we’re hoping everyone can do a little better. So, we’re promising that if our better burger campaign is a success we’re going to keep the better burger options on the menu – long-term!
