The Athletic Union Awards Dinner
The Athletic Union Awards Dinner is the most special night in the Bucks sporting calendar. It gives us a great opportunity to come together and celebrate both team and individual accomplishments throughout the past season. The evening will see awards given out in ten different categories.
This year’s Athletic Union dinner is on Wednesday 17 April, 6-11pm, and will be held at the High Wycombe Town Hall.
Tickets include entry into the exclusive pre-prosecco party, the main event, a two-course meal, and entry into the after party.
Nominations
Nominations as well as tickets are now open. If someone or a team have truly stood out amongst the crowd, you can nominate them for an award.
Nominations for the following categories include:

- Most Improved Player of the Year
- Fresher of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Team of the Year
- Captain of the Year
- Committee Member of the Year
- Club of the Year
- Sportswoman of the Year
- Sportsman of the Year
- Bucks Spirit of Sport Award
- Outstanding Contribution to Sport
Hall of Fame
In addition to the above awards, we also have the award for Hall of Fame. We instituted our Hall of Fame in 2014, and it recognises the most exceptional sporting contributions amongst the student body at Buckinghamshire New University. The Athletic Union Awards panel meet annually to decide whether any new inductees, current or alumni, are to be bestowed the honour of having their shirt framed and mounted on the walls by the Dance Studios in East Wing.
