Hi everyone, I really hope you're akk doing well and I enjoying being back on campus.
For those who don’t know me, I’m Amy and I represent mature students at BNU. Our Facebook group for mature students is active, and I have enjoyed getting to know you all. We held our network session, and it was lovely to meet some of you in person. Socialising with others is important, building a good network I truly believe is very beneficial to our time here as a mature student we face many different challenges. We are now putting together our next network session so if you have any ideas, please do let me know, I will try my best to make sure you can at least attend one and hopefully more, it can be challenging due to many commitments individuals have but I will try to support you the best I can.
Alongside the networking sessions and opportunities to meet other mature students, I'm also working on a campaign idea, 'No one should have no one'. I believe that everyone should have someone to turn to, talk to, or just know that there's someone there who's got your back and I'm really looking forward to sharing this with you all.
