**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our residents, providing assistance and support in various aspects of daily living. This role is essential in helping individuals maintain their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide person-centered support to residents, assisting with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal care, and household management.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages residents to express their needs and preferences.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other staff members.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized support plans, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
- Help residents engage in social and recreational activities that promote community involvement.
- Maintain accurate records of resident progress and any incidents, reporting them to the management team as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and organizational procedures.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a support or care role is preferred, but not essential.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to working with individuals with diverse needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care (or willingness to pursue).
