About this role:

We’re looking for enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our team of Theatre Technicians. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in bringing our shows and events to life, ensuring every performance runs smoothly and safely. You’ll assist in the setup and operation of all technical aspects of our productions, from lighting, sound, wardrobe, stage craft and flying, while maintaining our high standards of safety and professionalism. Additionally, you’ll help with the upkeep and maintenance of our venue and equipment.

We value a diverse range of skills and are excited to hear from applicants with experience in all disciplines including, follow spotting, wardrobe, wigs and makeup, and flying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Moving scenery and equipment during productions working with lighting, sound, and special effects
  • Where appropriate working on flying, follow spotting, lighting and sound operation and wardrobe maintenance
  • Maintain Health and Safety and Fire Safety procedures
  • Support with “get ins” and “get outs” with all aspects of the productions including lighting, sound, rigging
  • Collaborate with all visiting producers and artists to promote good customer relations
  • Assist in the preparation, running of shows/events
