Poppies Holmer Green Day Nursery & Pre School is Ofsted rated Good and has recently been refurbished and we have a large outdoor area with access to forest school, we also have chickens on site! We pride ourselves on having a friendly environment which you can see and feel from our Facebook page.

We are looking for a Nursery Lunch Cover to join our growing team and support with the children's daily routines across the lunch period. This role is working 20 hours per week, 11am-3pm, Monday-Friday. Please note this nursery is open all year round and is not a term time only role. Salary £8.60 - £11.94 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Main responsibilities as Nursery Lunch Cover include:
Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development

Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met

Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine

Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families

Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures

Requirements and Skills for Nursery Lunch Cover:
Full and Relevant Level 2 / Level 3 Childcare Qualification - desirable

Fluent in written and spoken English - essential

Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable

Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
