Community Engagement Lead | Bright Young Things

Location: BYT Centres (Harrow, High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Chesham)

About the role:

This role suits someone outgoing and confident, who has strong ties to the local community and/or is excited at the prospect of building community relationships. A local parent or new graduate who knows the school system and local community well would be preferred. This role is extremely flexible and working hours will be adjusted for the ideal candidate. The Community Engagement lead will be primarily responsible for gathering leads for Bright Young Things through a variety of means, including engaging with community groups and services to build partnerships and through direct community engagement by distributing leaflets and collecting contact details at events and in the community. Bonuses will be given based on performance which will be measured by the number of leads created.

 

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Receptive to feedback with a positive attitude - consistently hard working
  • Highly organised and able to manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative and share fresh ideas with management
  • Work well independently as well as with the rest of our incredible management team
  • A superb communicator and a natural leader

 

Job Type: Full-time or part-time                                

Hours:  Within 10:30 am - 7:30 pm (Monday to Friday) and/or 9:30 am - 4:30 pm (Saturday)

Pay: £10-12 per hour with bonuses based on performance as well as the opportunity to progress if desired
