Marketing & Sales Intern – Bucks Tutorial Centres

Are you creative, outgoing, and eager to gain hands-on experience in marketing, sales, and community outreach?

Bucks Tutorial Centres is looking for a Marketing & Sales Intern to help us connect with families, grow our presence locally, and spread the word about the difference we make. This is an ideal role for someone who’s enthusiastic about education and keen to develop real-world experience in a small, fast-moving team.

Your Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Help manage and update our Google Sites website
  • Set up and run our social media presence (e.g. Instagram, Facebook)
  • Design flyers, social posts, and email content using tools like Canva
  • Gather and share success stories from our students and centres

Local Outreach & Community Engagement

  • Attend school pick-ups, drop-offs and events to hand out flyers and engage parents
  • Identify local community hotspots (libraries, clubs, cafés) for flyering or events
  • Help plan and deliver small outreach events with partner schools and businesses
  • Build relationships with local schools, libraries and other organisations for joint events and promotions

Sales & Client Engagement

  • Call prospective families to book trial lessons
  • Follow up after trial sessions to convert interest into enrolments
  • Keep accurate notes and lead data in our CRM system

You’ll Be Great If You Are:

  • Studying (or recently graduated) in Marketing, Business, Education, or Communications
  • Confident, proactive and enjoy speaking with new people
  • Well-organised and full of ideas to improve visibility and engagement
  • Comfortable using social media and online tools (Canva, Google Sites, etc.)
  • Able to work on-site from one of our centres (choose High Wycombe, Chesham or Maidenhead)
  • Available for after-school hours, occasional weekends and some evenings as needed

Experience in marketing or education is helpful but not essential — we’ll give you full support and training.

Role Details

  • Contract type: Zero-hours or freelance contractor
  • Location: In-person only, from one centre of your choice (High Wycombe, Chesham or Maidenhead)
  • Hours: Flexible depending on availability, outreach events, and project needs

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
