We begin by introducing you to ASD and exploring individual unique challenges facing those living with it. The course lays out the different types of autism, including Asperger's Syndrome, Rett Syndrome and more. We study the causes and symptoms of ASD and outline the treatments that can improve the social skills of autistic people. We explain how to communicate with people living with autism and discuss the cognitive style and functions of ASD.
