Overview

Tickets will be released on the 5th November

Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Hansel and Gretel, as a new version of The Brothers Grimm’s fairy tale by Poet Laureate Simon Armitage transforms the Globe Theatre with poetry, songs and hope this winter.

When Hansel and Gretel’s parents decide their only option to give their children a better life is to abandon them in the woods, the children must fend for themselves.

Hansel and Gretel’s attempt to get home soon gets side-tracked – quite literally – by a trail of treats too good to resist and a seemingly-sweet stranger with a plan of her own…

This performance is at the Globe Theatre, famous for William Shakespeare and his plays. The Globe is a circular Theatre with a standing area as well as seated areas up high. It is an open air theatre and the performances do go on during rain or shine, so make sure you are dressed appropriately for the weather!!
