The Students' Union are exited to announce STRIVE is back for another year! It is going to be bigger and better than any Strive we have done in the past.
From Monday 26 February to Friday 1 March we have a week packed full of skills workshops, panels, employability advice and a big networking event. It is important for students to develop skills to become as employable as possible after University.
We are kickstarting the week with the networking event, students can network and meet employers. Employers will have stalls where they can showcase their organisations and available opportunities for the students. They can also put on a workshop or session for the students, where they can help them to build the skills to improve their employability.
Throughout the week we will also have a few panels which are run by alumni and local leaders. They will be answering any career or industry questions, it will also be a good networking opportunity as there will be a wide range of employers, students, staff and alumni to talk to.
It's never too early to start thinking about your career.
