Do you do a sport? Do you want to help your teammates out by being the designated first aider?

Join this session to learn all about first aid in sport. It will cover basic life support and AED (defibrillator) training whilst keeping the focus on managing incidents and competently assessing whether a casualty should be returning to activity or not.

Learning outcomes:

  • the role of the first aider
  • managing an emergency
  • communication and casualty care
  • bleeding (minor and severe)
  • burns
  • choking (adults)
  • fainting
  • health and safety (first aid) regulations
  • resuscitation (adult CPR)
  • seizures (adult)
  • shock
  • unconscious casualty.
  • key taping skills for the ankle, knee, shoulder, wrist and fingers.

This is being run by a qualifed trainer, who will tailor the session to everyone invloved.

This qualification will give you a 3 year certificate, for free!!
