What is a Union Council Chair?
Union Council is the highest decision-making body of Bucks Students' Union, representing the collective voice of students at BNU. The Council meets regularly to discuss important issues, hold the elected officers to account, and ensure students’ voices are heard on matters that affect their university experience.
The Council is led by the Union Council Chair, a current student elected annually by BNU students. We are looking for a student to take on this role, leading meaningful discussions, shaping student policies, and ensuring all Council members have a platform to raise and debate ideas.
All students are welcome to speak at Union Council to raise feedback or issues, however, the Chair plays an important role in planning and running the Council.
