Thank you to everyone for taking the time to nominate your fellow students for this year’s awards at the Athletic Union Dinner. We had over 290 fantastic nominations, which made the shortlisting for each category a welcome challenge. Congratulations to everyone who made the shortlist!

To allow us more time to spend working with the charity we are opening nominations early. Allowing us to be able to announce the new charity by the end of the academic year and giving the chance for the new RAG ambassadors to support the charity and start the plans for the new academic year 2025/26.

The struggle of being unable to afford simple things like getting a fresh haircut often gets pushed aside due to prioritising other things like food or travel, but the impact of looking good and feeling the same cannot be overstated. For many students, the cost of a haircut can be too much and feel like an unnecessary luxury.
