We had over 250 fantastic nominations, which made the shortlisting for each category very difficult but a welcomed challenge. Congratulations to everyone who made the shortlist!
What an event Varsity was this year. The day, the players and the supporters were fantastic and I’m sure will live long in the memories for everyone.
The Union’s annual elections concluded last week, culminating in the election of a brand-new elected officer team for 2024-25. Across the week, over 1,000 individual members voted in one of our elections. It’s fantastic to see so many of our members engaging in the Union’s democratic processes.

In accordance with Buckinghamshire Council raising awareness for Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) we put on two self-defence classes for anyone who identifies as a woman to attend and learn some skills surrounding self-defence. In November and January, we had the company ACT Self-defence come in and give us a seminar with some practical elements too.
Having listened to a few of your stories, we've found that food is a common theme towards getting through homesickness as well as creating a sense of togetherness. Suggest a meal you’d like to see in The Lounge next month and it could feature in The Lounge next month.
